The Holy Spirit
Have you ever said, “Words cannot describe it.” A description of the Grand Canyon in the United States, for example, cannot compare to the personal experience of standing on the edge and looking out over the expanse.
So, if words are not able to allow us to fully appreciate the Grand Canyon, then how much more difficult is it for us to understand the essence of God through words?
In an effort to understand the words, some will try to use their human intellect only. But because the human mind is corruptible, their thoughts become corrupted, so therefore, they will demean the words of God, ridicule what is written, and throw it to the side as false.
So, then, they will say, “What is written cannot be comprehended! Instead, let me see with my eyes so I can know about God!” But the eyes, which are a human part, are also corruptible. So, therefore, they will corrupt what they see and say, “That was not God! It is a trick of the eyes!”
So, then, they will say, “God, let me hear your voice so I know you are there!” But the ears, which are human flesh, are also corruptible. So, therefore, they will corrupt what they hear and exclaim, “The sound was false!”
We humans are prideful yet incapable to even believe what our minds let us ponder, eyes have let us see, and our ears have let us hear.
So how is our God to communicate to a creature that corrupts their own senses? How does a God, our God, call to His people who are incapable of receiving His messages through the flesh?
So God sent His son, and yet even He was thrashed and thrown to the side.
So God sent the Holy Spirit; the one who represents Christ as was in the days He walked on Earth. The Holy Spirit is the incorruptible part.
Those who take pride in the abilities of their own flesh will lash out when challenged by the incorruptible; for the flesh knows it has lost a battle that cannot be won.
Evil knows it cannot win the battle against the light, for the light only needs to enter the soul to make the darkness go away. This is why Evil has become so hateful, for it is able to corrupt the body, but it cannot corrupt the Holy Spirit; for the body is corruptible while the Holy Spirit is not.
Rely on the Holy Spirit only, not your own mind, eyes, or ears. Close your eyes and cover your ears for the Holy Spirit does not need these because this spirit exists in the soul, the part of you that will go on in the company of God.
